Mitigate congratulates Lancaster University and BBC on Micro:Bit project

Mitigate Cyber Security want to congratulate Lancaster University for “leading the way to make the UK a centre of excellence for innovation”, following the successfully launch of the BBC Micro:Bit, a small ARM-based computer designed to power internet-connected projects, which has been given to every Year 7 pupil in the country.

“At the heart of our business, we believe in the universal education of technology and security, and the BBC Micro:Bit project is leading the way to make the UK a centre of excellence for innovation” said Stephen Robinson, Managing Director of Mitigate Cyber Security.

“Mitigate’s strategic partners at Lancaster University have been integral in the project, and we want to congratulate them for continuing to be pioneers in the world of tech. I hope this inspires the next generation of cyber security experts, a Micro:Bit programmer today could be the penetration tester of tomorrow.”
