Stephensons Set The Bar on Cyber Security

We are delighted to announce that Stephensons, the national full service law firm, has gained the Cyber Essentials Plus certification with Xyone Cyber Security.

Xyone’s Managing Director, Stephen Robinson, said: “It’s a great privilege to work with a firm like Stephensons, who take their responsibility for cyber security extremely seriously. The team are focused and dedicated, and go above and beyond to ensure their data and infrastructure is secure”.

“I want to offer my congratulations to Stephensons for continuing to lead the way within the legal sector in information security”.

Luke Axon, Head of Information Technology at Stephensons, said: “Our client data is our most valuable asset and we need to do our utmost to protect it. We have already seen government organisations request new suppliers to be Cyber Essentials accredited and anticipate that the local government may soon follow suit”.

Cyber Essentials Plus checks that a company's IT infrastructure is safe in the following areas:

•             Boundary Firewalls and Internet Gateways

•             Secure Configurations

•             User Access Control

•             Malware Protection

•             Patch Management

Cyber Essentials is the government backed scheme enabling businesses to demonstrate their commitment to cyber security by making sure they are secure from the threat of attacks, securing themselves and their clients’ data.
