Clarion Certified with Cyber Essentials

We are pleased to share that Clarion, the complete-service law firm based in Leeds, have been certified for Cyber Essentials Plus with Xyone Cyber Security.

Dan Mitchell, head of Information Technology at Clarion, commented that "Xyone, and Jacek particularly have done a great job in helping us achieve Cyber Essentials Plus. The assessment itself was pain free and good humoured".

"Sensible and proportionate recommendations were made and those have now been implemented."

Stephen Robinson, CEO of Xyone Cyber Security said: “Clarion are a leading example of a law firm that are taking their cyber security seriously. Cyber Essentials Plus is a sign of a quality law firm, who keep their client data and information safe and secure, responsibly.”

Part of the Government’s framework for cyber security standards, Cyber Essentials Plus analyses the safety of a company’s IT infrastructure in terms of:

  • User Access Control
  • Patch Management
  • Boundary Firewalls
  • Internet Gateways
  • Malware Protection
  • Secure Configurations

Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus are government-backed schemes which allow businesses to show that cyber security is important to them; being certified shows that they are secure from the threat of attacks, protecting the data of their clients and themselves.
