This workshop is specifically designed for delegates who have the responsibility for governing or delivering the changes that their organisation requires in order to become compliant with the GDPR regulations from May 2018. This pragmatic workshop is designed to provide those tasked with making or overseeing the necessary GDPR changes on behalf of their organisation with the practical support they will need to appropriately structure and set up their change programmes.
During this workshop we will do the following:
Review the key legal requirements of GDPR to enable delegates to ensure that their change programmes are covering all the necessary business issues
Review the “classic” areas of work that most businesses will need to attend to as part of their change programme
Discuss and illustrate set up of effective governance arrangements for the programme and for the on-going management of data issues
Review how to ensure that the organisation’s IT systems are suitable and effective for the on-going management of data
Review the structure of the programme of work to ensure the necessary IT changes are made and implemented
Discuss the arrangements organisation’s will want to have in place post May-2018
